DesignUp started with the idea of raising the design agenda within tech companies and tech-led businesses. To make tech, businesses, products and services thoughtful, human and humane, by Design.
DesignUp is volunteer-driven and community led. There are no full time salaried employees—we all have our day jobs. For us, DesignUp is a passion and unifying force.
Core Team

DesignUp Advisory board, constituted in 2018, has Katja Forbes, Vandana Abraham and V Shivakumar on the team.
DesignUp 2018 got off to a high energy start thanks to over 750 attendees who went from creating cacophony to feet tapping rhythms in matter of a few minutes. One of the most appreciated and highly memorable acts of #DUp18 – Roberto Narain guided drummers and tambourine players to create music, sync with each other, reach a crescendo and drop to gentle beats. The music party concluded with several of the 750 trooping to the main stage and dancing away to their own beats. A magical welcome to DesignUp 2018…
