Shirin Khara is a Motion Designer and Storytelling Evangelist based in Hyderabad, India. Her work currently focuses on crafting compelling user experiences for the Microsoft Edge browser. She is an avid writer on design thinking and user experiences on Medium.

She graduated in Communication Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi and is a post graduate in Animation Film Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

She has interned at firms such as Ogilvy & Mather and Roli Books, and has created activity books for children at Scholastic. Her short animation films aim to spread awareness on environmental, social and technological issues and the impact of consumerism on humankind. Her group film Little Boxes was nominated for the ASIFA Awards of Excellence.
