Jay Dutta
Jay, abbreviated to JD, is a Design thinker, doer, evangelist and speaker. He has journeyed across multiple specialisations within Design, worked in multiple Geos, built teams, products and brands. He is a regular speaker at events, including TEDx – expanding on the cross pollination between Design and Tech, craftsmanship and ideas.
In his current role, JD leads the Experience Design Charter for a new, expanded Go-MMT group, including MakeMyTrip and GoIbibo. He was the AsiaPacific Regional Head for the non-Profit Interaction Design Association (IxDA) and one of the few Indian Designers to work as a Designer-In-Residence at a Venture Capital Firm (SAIF Partners).
For over half a decade, he set the foundations and grew the UX practice at Adobe India – covering a diverse spectrum of Adobe products and digital platforms. JD has consistently built high-performance in-house and consulting design teams across enterprise, prosumer and consumer domains that have delivered time-critical multi-million dollar projects. An alumnus of the National Institute of Design, Jay has an MSc in Design Management from UK, has been a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, London. Living in and working for diverse geos across Asia, Europe and America gives Jay a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures.
